Help Shape Future Development of Eden Prairie

The City of Eden Prairie’s comprehensive plan update ~ ASPIRE EDEN PRAIRIE 2040 ~ will create a blueprint for our future to guide the City in its decision making for the next 20 years.

>MAP YOUR VISION OF EDEN PRAIRIE

  • What is a comprehensive plan?

A Comprehensive Plan is a blueprint for the future. It is a community vision that is intended to guide the City for the next 20 years, which will include policies that direct future growth and development. The process for creating a comprehensive plan can lead to potential strategies that will help effectively guide City leaders with making substantive and thoughtful decisions for the community.
  • When will Aspire Eden Prairie 2040 start and when will it be completed?

The initial phases of plan development have begun. The final City Council-approved plan will be submitted to the Metropolitan Council by Dec. 31, 2018.
  • How can I get involved in the process?

It is important for community members to get involved in Aspire Eden Prairie 2040 activities. The Community Engagement and Updates section of this website is updated regularly with updates and opportunities for providing input throughout the process. Finally, materials from meetings and more information detailing the Aspire Eden Prairie 2040 process can be found in the Documents section.

The online maps make it easy to provide input about specific locations, amenities and transportation within the City.
