Three Minnesota Democrats are rallying around legislation designed to overturn the recent Hobby Lobby decision by the Supreme Court limiting contraception coverage. Reps. Keith Ellison and Betty McCollum are co-sponsors of legislation that would prohibit for-profit employers that maintain a group health plan from using religious beliefs to deny employees coverage of contraception or any other vital health service required by federal law. Rep. Rick Nolan’s campaign sent out a fundraising plea to supporters Tuesday, urging them to “stand up for women in Minnesota and all across the country.” Star Tribune
