Republican Actions Speak Louder than Words 4
Republicans are leaving working families and women behind by:
Cutting wages for tipped employees: Republicans include the “tip penalty” in their budget, cutting wages and reducing the minimum wage for servers.
Throwing working Minnesotans off their health care: The Republican plan to dismantle MinnesotaCare will mean 95,000 Minnesotans will lose their coverage entirely or would pay significantly more for coverage.
Cutting wages for public employees & their families: Republicans would cut wages for public employees and their families, while maintain the same pay for themselves.
Blocking Working Parents Act: The Republicans have blocked the Working Parents Act, which would ensure Minnesota families have access to workplace protections like earned sick leave, paid family leave, and schedule fairness.
