Minnesota By the Numbers

Here’s the latest numbers:

  • 9,500 — the number of new jobs added in Minnesota during the month of October, 2014
  • 184,000 — the number of jobs Minnesota has added since January, 2011
  • 3.9% — Minnesota’s unemployment rate has dropped to 3.9%, the lowest in 8 years
  • 6.8% — Minnesota’s unemployment rates when Gov. Dayton took office in 2011
  • 2006 — the last time MInnesota’s unemployment rate was this low was June, 2006
  • 51 — Minnesota has now experienced 51 consecutive months of over-the-year job growth
  • 1990 — the last time Minnesota gained this many jobs in a 3-month period

Sounds pretty good to us.
