On January 28, 2015, Christian E. Weller and Jackie Odum posted an article on how our country’s economy is performing “more than five years after the Great Recession”. While some people had next to no impact from the above, many are still dealing with problems caused by the fiscal mismanagement that caused the meltdown. Lower- and middle-income families continue to deal with:
- Slow income growth
- Modest job growth
- High poverty and
- High debt levels.
