  • Lt. Gov. Smith will provide remarks at the Minnesota Pipe Trades Association Annual Convention.
  • 10 a.m. – June marks the one-year anniversary since the federal Environmental Protection Agency announced the Clean Power Plan, a responsibility under the federal Clean Air Act that will reduce national electricity sector emissions that contribute to global warming by an estimated 30 percent below 2005 levels by 2030, the equivalent pollution benefit of taking 150 million cars off the road.  Will Steger will join business leaders, health advocates and Minnesota youth to call for implementation of the Clean Power Plan in Minnesota for greater job growth, cleaner air and a brighter future.
