How to Vote Absentee this November

check-mark110x110Where the election Tuesday, November 5 will contain school board candidates and votes on the school district’s referendum items, we checked with the district on how absentee voting will be done. Here’s what we were told:

To have an absentee ballot sent to you, you have three ways to make your request:

Complete the application (download the pdf here) and return it to the following address:

Ms. Laurie Hemstock
Executive Assistant/Elections Clerk
Eden Prairie Schools #272
8100 School Rd
Eden Prairie, MN 55344

The ballot material will be mailed to you.

Or, visit the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website and complete the online application. That application will be forwarded to the school district. The district will then send you the ballot material.

And, finally, you can make an in-person application at Ms. Hemstock’s office at the address above.

Eden Prairie Precincts 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 will be voting at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 16515 Luther Way, Eden Prairie, MN.

Eden Prairie Precincts 4, 7, 8, 11 and 12 will be voting at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 13600 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie, MN.

Eden Prairie Precincts 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 will be voting at Prairie Lutheran Church, 11000 Blossom Rd, Eden Prairie, MN.

Eden Prairie Precincts 9, 10, 18 and 19 will be voting at Grace Church, Pioneer Trail and Spring Hill Rd, Eden Prairie, MN.

For Minnetonka residents, you will be voting at your regular polling location.

Not certain what precinct you live in? Visit the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Pollfinder website.
